J. D. GaitherGreetings from the President’s Desk and Hey to all my Gaither Cousins!!!

I’ll start by saying, if you did not attend the reunion in Washington DC & Alexandria VA, you missed out on a great opportunity to meet with some wonderful folks and share some great times... Mack and Rebecca Gaither did a marvelous job as Host, I would like to personally and publicly “Thank Them” for all their time and effort invested to achieve this successful reunion. Annual Meeting Will Feature New Round-Table Breakfast Discussions

In response to requests at last year's Annual Meeting, this year's Meeting will feature Round Table Breakfast Discussions on subjects of interest to members on Friday morning.

Society member, Steve Beardslee, will host a Round Table-Breakfast Discussion, titled “The ABCs of Genealogy” .  Steve will present and discuss basic guidance to beginning or amateur genealogists on how to research their genealogy.  The focus is on recommended processes and workflows, whether with or without computers.  An example will be presented using Family Tree Maker software, online access, and a web search on Ancestry.com

Interested in navigating the new Gaither web site?  Mack Gaither will provide a tour of the site, register you in order that you have full access and receive email notices of the latest news and announcements, and explain how you can use the site to help in your genealogy work.

The Round-Table Discussions will be held Saturday morning at 8:30-9:30 and each session is expected to last no longer than 30 minutes.
